The Soccer Coaches Academy was founded by Peter Schreiner, former head of youth development at Schalke 04 and a worldwide renowned author, coaches instructor, and speaker for soccer around the globe.
The beginning in a few words
As a coaches instructor Peter Schreiner is a regular speaker on coaching conferences worldwide (AEFCA, DFB, CBF etc.), after one of his engagements many participants asked for extra material or where they could further learn the topics covered. The idea to create an online learning platform for soccer coaches was born!
Using the full potential of online learning!
Using his experience as a founder of multiple startups, Peter Schreiner quickly turned his idea from an initial concept into reality. In 2019 the first online learning plattform for coaches launched in Germany.
The first course - Coach²
Steven Turek (Hannover 96) and Jonas Stephan (Chemnitzer FC), both successful youth coaches and speakers, were the first ones to create a complete coaching course for the academy, they called it Coach².
It took them almost 2 years to fully develop this unique course and it started with great success in Germany! Now Coach² is also finally available in English here on the academy.
2022 - What's to come!
The successful launch of the academy has resulted in other Instructors joining us. 2022 will be an exciting year as we will release many high-profile courses for coaches worldwide and we cant wait to share them with you!
